Start of the 2015 Season

The 2015 season started a bit slow safari wise but definitely not animal wise. Mark has had a number of good sightings of the wild dog and Lion. Tried to track a large Crocodile moving from the beautiful Zambezi to one of the many pools in Mana, but unfortunately the crocodile seemed to stay just ahead of Mark. A very large Cobra decided to stand up next to the vehicle on one of their trips into Mana, this was a beautiful speciman apparently as it came up to 3/4 of the door of the Land Cruiser. 

The wind has been wrecking havoc with his canoe trips recently, not sure what has changed but it has been blowing up a storm especially around midday till mid afternoon. This has not deterred him much as if he can not canoe, he simply reverts to either a game drive or walk.

Mark has also been able to enjoy some really spectacular Sunset and Sunrises. As well as some beautiful viewing of the hippos wondering through camp in the moonlight.
