Amazing Sighting

Just come back from a Mana Shoreline Canoe trip. Memorable experience was sitting at the morning camp fire watching a hippo. She suddenly started rolling and diving in the water, I thought she was just rubbing herself against the sandy bottom when low and behold she popped up on to the surface with a very feebly struggling 8 foot croc in her mouth. She shook it like a dog shakes a rat and the croc went flying out of her mouth to sink under water. The hippo then very calmly moved away and about 20 mins later a very sick and dying crocodile surfaced and floated away down stream.
