So it has been a very busy season for Mark and I. Mark has had some fantastic sightings one of the most fantastic being a pangolin rolling in the mud and really enjoing it's mud bath.
He also got in to the thick of things when he was following the Wild dog hunting when they all bumped into a cow herd of elephant who took exception the dogs being there and definitely sent them packing with their legs between their legs ;-) Whilst taking a couple on the Mana Shoreline Canoe he was also graced with the viewing of a beautiful leopard. I unfortunately have not been not so lucky with such beautiful sightings on my travels in and out of Mana but I have been able to see my favourite Ground Hornbill, lovely couple of Mum's and Baby Elephants. The last time I was in I was woken up by Mr Hyeana deciding that the operators sheds might be a nice little resturant for himself. He did managed to find an old milk carton and proceeded to destroy it about 2 metres from my tent. I had the priviledge of once again being serenaded to sleep by a pride of lions in Chessa area for the last couple of times I have over nighted at the operators sheds.
